Following resident requests for parking management in local streets, Council is conducting consultation within the proposed extended Area 20 Resident Parking Scheme in blue in Figure 1 to determine if residents would like the existing Area 20 RPS to be extended and what time restrictions residents would like the parking restrictions to display.
The proposed extension includes the following roads:
- Powell Street between Underwood Road and Park Road,
- Park Road between Powell Street and Kanoona Avenue – note that Park Road between Parramatta Road and Powell Street will have 2-hour parking restrictions without permit holders excepted implemented to support parking turnover for nearby businesses,
- Short Street,
- Hillcrest Street,
- Derowie Avenue,
- Kanoona Avenue, and
- Flemington Road.
