Expressions of Interest to join Council's Events Committee are now open!
Are you passionate about making a positive contribution to our community? Council is seeking enthusiastic community members to join Council’s Events Committee and help shape the planning and delivery of local events.
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Council, share your ideas and contribute to events that bring our community together to create memorable experiences.
Membership of the Events Committee will consist of:
- up to five (5) community members or representatives from the local community. Ideally, the community members will be from across the geographical area of Council.
- All seven (7) Councillors.
- Up to two (2) staff one (1) being in the role of Director as determined by the General Manager.
If you would like to be considered as a community representative on Council’s Events Committee, you are invited to submit an Expression of Interest and formally declare in writing any potential conflicts of interest.
All expressions of interest must be received by 11:59pm, Friday 3 July 2026 via the below form.
